Hi, I'm Sarge. I retired from the U.S. Army a few years ago as a Master Sergeant and am now pursuing my passion for drag racing. I race the "Quantum Leap," a 1923 Altered and recently built a Vega. Throughout the last 40 years, I've learned to put together various combinations of motors, transmissions, and torque converters to feed my need for speed. How do you explain the sheer thrill of going from zero to 125 mph in 5.4 seconds? You racers out there understand it is not only the thrill of the ride but the competition (with yourself and others) and the precision it takes to become consistent. Once racing is in your blood, you set goals and tweak your car to go a little bit faster - 1/1000 of a second can mean the difference between winning and losing. The quality of your torque converter is a major factor in finding that 1/1000 of a second.

That's why I'm in the torque converter business. I felt there was a need in the market for quality products at affordable prices. Customer service was another area I found lacking in other torque converter businesses. It is frustrating when your vehicle is on the rack waiting for your torque converter to be rebuilt by some large, unresponsive company. A freshen up shouldn't take two weeks! We have set high standards and strive to take care of our customers' needs as quickly and economically as possible.
